Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) has announced the result of Technical School Certificate (TSC) Part-II Annual Examinations 2008. A total of 1,846 candidates appeared in the exams; 1,457 have been declared successful and the overall percentage remained 79.22%. Farhan Shujaat of Al-Habib Technical School Orangi Town secured 91.13% marks to claim the 1st position; Maryam Ara from Kamal Ataturk Technical High School obtained 2nd position with 89.82% marks; and Rida Afroz of DMR Technical High School Karachi grabbed 3rd position with 88.34%. Fifty-nine students passed the examinations with ‘A-1 grade, 395 in ‘A grade, 472 secured ‘B, 212 got ‘C and 5 candidates passed in ‘D grade.
Meanwhile the SBTE also announced the result of TSC Part-1 Annual Examinations 2008. According to details, 2,312 candidates appeared in the exams; 1,386 were declared successful while the percentage remained 64. 27%.
