The University of Karachi has announced that application forms for admissions on reserved seats are available for Rs300 at the office of deputy registrar (academics), located on the first floor of the university's administration block, during office hours.
The candidates aspiring to get admission on reserved seats in first year BS (Hons) and Pharm-D may collect and submit the duly filled forms till Nov 8. Applicants have been advised to also apply on open merit.
According to another notification, admission forms for textile design, graphic design, industrial design, ceramics and glass, fine arts, Islamic art and art history are available at the department of visual studies.
The eligibility for the admission is intermediate or equivalent qualification with 45 per cent of marks.
The department will receive duly filled forms from candidates till Nov 4. Aptitude test will be conducted on Nov 9 from 11am to 1pm at the STC Building on the campus. Classes will begin from January 1, 2009.
