The examination department, University of Karachi has announced the results of BA (Pvt.) Part-II Annual Examinations 2007. The results have been announced after a delay of 8 months. A total of 9102 candidates appeared in these exams; 407 candidates secured 1st division, 2882 passed the exams in 2nd division, while 976 candidates got 3rd division. The overall percentage remained 46.86%. Maryam Anwar Soomro secured the 1st position with 764 marks (out of 1000), Masood-ur-Rahman got 2nd position with 739 marks and Muhammad Sadiq captured 3rd slot with 728 marks.
